These rare tin containers were used in the old times to sell honey. When WW2 broke out many metal/tin items were crushed and reclaimed for the war effort. Few survive today. This is even more rare and special as the lable on the tin is made of paper and remains largely in tact. This tin is from Jay Cowing, Jenison, Michigan USA. April 12 1942.
They have beautiful vintage honey/ bee/ beehive graphic advertising on each tin. Part of our personal museum collection depicting the history of bees and beekeeping throughout the world.
