T&C

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online with The Hive Honey Shop Ltd. Please read the terms and conditions carefully before placing any order. You confirm that, by placing an order with us The Hive Honey Shop Ltd you are agreeing to accept our Terms and Conditions. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

 

Delivery Terms

We deliver direct to your door!

We aim to dispatch your order promptly approx. 3-5 working days from receipt of your order by Courier, Royal Mail Recorded Post -Sign For or Parcelforce Worldwide depending on the circumstances. Please consider this before ordering allowing plenty of time. If you do have any special delivery requests you must telephone The Hive Honey Shop and one of our members of staff will be happy to help.

 

Postage and Packing – You may order as many products as you like and pay only one Royal Mail delivery charge of £3.95 per single UK Mainland address. Note: WE DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE THE UK.

NOTE– If the addressee is not in at the time of delivery, a card will be left and the addressee will need to make their own arrangements within 6 days to pick up the parcel from the indicated depot. After that time the parcel will be returned to The Hive Honey Shop. If the addressee/client wishes for the parcel to be resent, they lose the original postage fee and must pay the new postal return charge of £3.95, or The Hive Honey Shop can issue a full refund less the return charge of £3.95 P&P and our payment processing fee of £1.50. By entering into this contract of terms and conditions you agree that The Hive Honey Shop will not be held responsible for any delays due to postal strikes, industrial actions, virus pandemics  or internal postal delays which are out of our control. Should any part of your order be unavailable we will email you to let you know the position or subsitute to the nearest. Please note we make many hand-made items listed on this site and the packaging may vary slightly to the photos on the website. If for any reason, you have not received delivery within 11 working days, please contact our Customer Care number on +44(0) 20 7924 6233 Monday-Friday 10am-5pm. A trained member of staff will deal with your call.

 

Lost, Damaged or Returned Items

If a claim for damaged delivery is to be made, this will require the Customer to substantiate a claim by providing any relevant information about the consignment to The Hive Honey Shop within 48 hours of receipt. The recipient may be asked to confirm that the item delivered damaged with photos sent to The Hive Honey Shop via email to review.  A claim can only be processed further if the recipient replies in writing to The Hive Honey Shop™ and if applicable to Royal Mail or Parcelforce Worldwide. Parcelforce Worldwide may write directly to the recipient, who must reply to this correspondence within 10 days or the claim will be voided. All claims must be received within 2 days of posting date or no refund/redelivery will be entertained. The Hive Honey Shop may make such investigations as it deems necessary to satisfy itself of the validity of any claim. All items sent are Tracked  Sign For and we reserve the right to investigate claims procedures before considering refunds.

If a claim for lost delivery is to be made, this will require the Customer to allow 11 working days from the date of delivery before The Hive Honey Shop can offer a redelivery or full refund. The Customer is required to substantiate a claim by providing any relevant information about the consignment to The Hive Honey Shop after 11 working days and no later than 30 working days.  A claim can only be processed further if the recipient replies in writing to The Hive Honey Shop™ and if applicable to Royal Mail or Parcelforce Worldwide. Parcelforce Worldwide may write directly to the recipient, who must reply to this correspondence within 10 days or the claim will be voided. The Hive Honey Shop may make such investigations as it deems necessary to satisfy itself of the validity of any claim. All items are sent are Tracked -Sign For and we reserve the right to investigate claims procedures before considering refunds.

 

RETURN/REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY: No refunds or exchange will be considered on food items. We do not offer a sale or return or a refund policy on unwanted items, however The Hive may consider any claim based on its merit. Therefore buyers must contact The Hive Honey Shop before sending any item back, otherwise a charge of £10 admin will be payable. If the returned item/items are requested to be returned to the buyer, a further charge of £9.95 P&P will be required from the buyer. Any item/items accepted back by The Hive Honey Shop will incur a restocking admin fee of 30% of the order value. Returned postage cost will be at the expense of the buyer and is not covered by The Hive Honey Shops return policy. No claim for non-delivery or loss will be valid after 30 days from the date of sale. These Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Each party irrevocably agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales over any claim or matters arising under or in connection with this agreement.

 

Online Orders
We are delighted to accept online order transactions via a secure server using a valid debit or credit card. Customers may also pay using PayPal. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks as authorised by the card issuer. No card information is seen by us, rather it is encrypted and by our payment service provider PayPal.  If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder, sending to the registered cardholders address only. We do not take orders over the phone or allow items to be picked up.

 

Products, prices and content
Whilst every endeavour has been made to ensure the photos and colours presented on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product, due to technical limitations, some colours may vary. Product descriptions, prices and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every endeavour has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for omissions and errors. All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated.We reserve the right to make changes to the products. We may change the product(s) to reflect changes in applicable laws and regulatory requirements; and to carry out minor technical adjustments and improvements. These changes will not affect your use of the product. Any particulars displayed on our web site(s) or other printed matter by us is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only regarded to be useful supportive advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our Website is updated as regularly as possible.We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.
Credit cards and our security
The Hive Honey Shop take major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch through our payment service provider PayPal. All credit card details are secured with 128-bit encrypted sessions and all sensitive information is stored on a heavily encrypted database that is protected by multiple government approved firewalls by PayPal. The Hive Honey Shop Ltd do not hold or store your card details. We use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your details are safe and the information you provide is fully encrypted so that it cannot be read by third parties. Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing a locked padlock icon or an image of a key in the url bar at the top of your screen. Ownership of goods
All items supplied to the customer remain the property of The Hive Honey Shop Ltd until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.

The trade marks, logos, and service marks presented on the Website (collectively, the “Trade Marks”) are the registered and unregistered marks of The Hive Honey Shop Ltd and are protected by UK and international trade mark laws. All graphics, text, photographic images, packaging, designs and patterns on all The Hive Honey Shop products are protected by UK and international copyright, design rights, trade mark rights and other intellectual property rights, which are owned by The Hive Honey Shop Ltd.
